Is Jose Mourinho the right man?

It is very clear that Manchester United need a coaching change. One name that is circulating among journalists, since his departure from Chelsea FC is Jose Mourinho. His resume speaks for itself; in 15 years as a manager he has amassed 19 trophies including winning the UEFA Champions League twice with FC Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010.

The question is, is he a good fit for Manchester United? There is no doubt he has had success everywhere he has managed. Given is record he should be a favorite if the Manchester United job becomes vacant but he has his detractors, who would argue that he doesn't incorporate youth which is a requirement at Manchester United, they also don't like the drama he brings; criticizing the team physio, officials and it was rumored he was the reason for a divided locker room. His teams often play defensive football and don't play attacking football that is the identity of Manchester United.

Manchester United must take their time and make the best decision in choosing the next manager. First of all it needs to be somebody that will allow the players, the freedom to play attacking football that Manchester United are known for, such individual would also need to develop young players and have the experience of winning trophies. Certainly if Jose wants his dream job then he would have to adapt. Can he and will he?
