Manchester United vs Southampton Preview
Manchester United host Southampton on Saturday afternoon as the relegation-battling side hope to take something away from their visit to Old Trafford.

What are the team news?
For the home side, it's not looking too pretty in the physio room. Manchester United will be without Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Nemanja Matic for the clash. However, Matteo Darmian and Anthony Martial have a chance of returning to action after missing out for a wealthy period of time. Phil Jones is also the slightest of doubts due to an illness. For the visitors on the other hand, Lemina and Obafemi are set to miss the match, with Danny Ings being a major doubt.

What happened in the reverse fixture?
Earlier this season, Southampton held Man United to a 2-2 draw despite going up 2-0 in the opening 20 minutes. Goals from Lukaku and Herrera salvaged United a point on the day, but that turned to be the peak of Mourinho, as he was sacked 4 matches later.

What happened in this fixture last time out?
Last time Southampton visited Old Trafford, they were able to keep United quiet in a goalless draw. Lukaku went out early suffering a head injury, and the only time the ball went into the back of the net was when Pogba tapped home from an offside position.

How is their form?
Manchester United are yet to be defeated in the Premier League following the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and enjoyed a 3-1 win over the week against Crystal Palace. Southampton also had a nice week, defeating Fulham 2-0 at Saint Mary's and escaping the relegation spots.

What does a win mean for each team?
A win for Manchester United could potentially lift them into the top 4 again if Arsenal draw or lose to rivals Tottenham. A win for the Saints on the other hand, would put them on 30 points and above all the relegation spots. Both teams need the crucial 3 points up for grabs on Saturday.

Anything else I should know?
Ole will be looking to extend his unbeaten streak in the Premier League, and I think they'll do just that, I'm saying 2-0 United.
