What Does Harry Maguire offer to Manchester United?

So what does the "Slabhead" offer if we do manage to get this one over the line? Well, a few things actually, having watched him plenty of times over the past couple of seasons there are definitely a few positives. First of all, his aerial ability is second to none, he rarely loses a header, both defensively and offensively, we need a centre-half who can dominate the opposing striker in the air and offer a considerable threat from corners because let's be honest, our output from attacking corners have been woeful for the past few seasons.
The modern game often demands to play out from the back, the Iceman is capable to do that very well, but I'm sick and tired of Chris Smalling positioning himself like he's David Beckham every time he has to make a 5-yard pass. Harry Maguire is very good with the ball at his feet, standing at 6.4 feet he does look a bit robotic with the ball but deceivingly does handle it very well, he's capable of making short as well as lofted long balls. For a centre-back he's also very good at dribbling with the ball, a player with that confidence as well as ability would certainly be a solid addition to our backline.
Let's look at some numbers from last year, he played 45 games in all competitions for Leicester City and England and scored 4 goals in total, not bad for a centre-back, he also won 4 aerial per game over the period with a pass accuracy of 86.1 percent. Those are solid numbers coupled with the fact that he's now the number one centre-back for England and could play a lot of games in a long season maintaining his fitness very well.
