Manchester United Vs Everton Player Ratings

Manchester United are back under winning ways with their victory against the impressive side of Everton. Goals from Paul Pogba & an cracking goal from Anthony Martial were enough to see out the victory at Old Trafford. But the player ratings are here so we can see where every United player stands after their performance.

David De Gea:
De Gea made saves but not really major saves, so had no chance with the penalty Everton had against him.

    Ashley Young: 6.5
Young was solid at right-back. He made some good challenges and should start over Valencia from now on, if not Dalot.

      Chris Smalling: 6
Smalling made his 300th appearance with a strong performance but mistimed a tackle that cost De Gea his clean sheet.

        Victor Lindelof: 7
After coming off a good performance against Juventus, Lindelof looked to have continued his good form against Everton. He looked calm and more confident.

          Luke Shaw: 6.5
Shaw hardly put a foot wrong, played well, not much to talk about in my opinion.

            Matic: 5
For me, another lacking performance from Matic. He was caught in possession a few times.

              Fred: 7
After a 4 disappearance, Fred added energy to the midfield and looked very comfortable playing alongside Pogba.

                Pogba: 8
Although Pogba's penalty was blacked by Pickford, he got a bit lucky that the ball went back to him the way it did, got himself a goal and an assist.

                  Mata: 6.5
Mata also hardly put a foot wrong. He dropped and provided help in the midfield when needed.

                    Rashford: 6
Rashford desperately needs a goal especially if he is going to continue starting. He looks to be wanting to effect the game but doesn't seem to confident at the moment.

                      Martial: 8.5
Tony won the first half penalty and got himself a standout goal. He was probably the best player on the pitch. His pace was scaring the Everton defence.

                        Subs:
Lukaku: 5. Several opportunities missed. He desperately needs a goal or two.

                        Lingard: N/A

                        Herrera: N/A
