On the back of two magnificent performances last week against Jose's Spurs and Pep's City, United aim to maintain this win streak in their final Europa League group stage game against AZ Alkmaar. If Manchester United win or draw, they will qualify top of the group over the Dutch side but a defeat could see them face any of the Champions League dropouts such as Inter, Ajax or Benfica.

Jesse Lingard will miss the game after picking up a knock in the Manchester Derby but should be fit to face Everton on the weekend. Paul Pogba is back in training alongside Rojo, Dalot, Bailly and Fosu-Mensah but none of them are in contention to start. Nemanja Matic is in the training squad along with youngsters, Laid, Williams, Garner, Gomes, Chong and of course, Mason Greenwood and all could feature but it is likely that, while some changes will be made, United will field a strong squad.

As we enter the festive season and busy December period, the schedule for Manchester United in the coming weeks is pretty intense. In fact, the Red Devils will be playing no less than five further matches before the start of New Year. Bearing this in mind, squad rotation is critical in order to keep the players fresh and ready to tackle the heavy fixture schedule. Brandon Paul Brian Williams born in Manchester on the 3rd September 2000. Williams made his Under-18s debut as a substitute in the 4-2 defeat to Reading in the final league outing of 2016/17 season.  The defender blossomed into a regular starter for the young Reds, making 22 appearances across domestic competitions and in the UEFA Youth League. Williams has worked hard to add a real attacking edge to his game and became a key component of his style of play.  He made his Premier League  debut on 20 October 2019 against Liverpool at Old Trafford as a late substitute. This game, and the past couple of weeks as a matter of fact, fittingly sum up the majority of the decade for Manchester United. The Reds have found themselves making one step forward only to make two steps back quite often in the post-Ferguson era, and the 1-1 stalemate against Everton on Sunday at Old Trafford was yet another instance of that standstill.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men came into this game against the struggling Toffees full of confidence, or at least you would think they did, having just put together an impressive streak of three wins in a row.

Manchester United are back under winning ways with their victory against the impressive side of Everton. Goals from Paul Pogba & an cracking goal from Anthony Martial were enough to see out the victory at Old Trafford. But the player ratings are here so we can see where every United player stands after their performance.
David De Gea: 7 
De Gea made saves but not really major saves, so had no chance with the penalty Everton had against him.
Ashley Young: 6.5  Young was solid at right-back. He made some good challenges and should start over Valencia from now on, if not Dalot. 
Chris Smalling: 6 Smalling made his 300th appearance with a strong performance but mistimed a tackle that cost De Gea his clean sheet.
Victor Lindelof: 7 After coming off a good performance against Juventus, Lindelof looked to have continued his good form against Everton. He looked calm and more confident. 

Luke Shaw: 6.5 Shaw hardly put a foot wrong, played well, not much to talk about in my opinion.

Both teams are desperate for three points for different reasons, with City attempting to keep alive their slim hopes of hanging on to Liverpool's coat-tails while United will be trying to leap-frog Wolves before they play Brighton on Sunday.
