The Summer transfer window is approaching and the English Premier League season is coming to an end after it was initially suspended due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak. are. Manchester United once again are the talk of the town after their fine form of results which have saw them go 18 games unbeaten in all competition. The front three of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial and of course the Portuguese super star, Bruno Fernandes can easily be termed as the reasons for the same. However, United are now looking to add more quality to the dressing room in the summer transfer window, with Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho expected to join ahead of next season.

United have been in fine form of results and would be looking to claim the 3rd or 4th position in the league to qualify for the prestigious UEFA champions league next season and, according to reports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Jadon Sancho his primary target as he's searching for a right winger to booster his attack next season.

Mason Greenwood who has filled the right wing position on several occasions this season as well can play as a left winger due to his ability to use both foots perfectly has been praised by legends and his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his consistency in front of goals this season which he has been able to score 16 goals this season so far.

On the other side at Signal Iduna Park, Jadon Sancho is easily one of the best talents in the world, and his numbers speak volumes about him. In an era when inverted wing-ism is the vogue, he’s shown ability in going down the right flank and sending in perfect balls – traits of a classic right winger. Jadon Sancho plays as a right winger for BVB, and as well play on the left.

Will Jadon Sancho replace Mason Greenwood in the starting XI next season or will Marcus Rashford be the one to he replaced?

Mason Greenwood has been playing on the right side of a front three just behind the striker – a direct positional battle with Jadon Sancho if he were to sign the dotted line for Manchester United. However, there’s more to the gameplay. The Greenwood plays in the middle of the park for a good part of the game, giving Bruno Fernandes freedom to go back and build the game from midfield. This has also helped the Portuguese build a great bond with the returning-from-injury Paul Pogba, who has been in great form after his return from injury.

Marcus Rashford has done enough to make the left wing role his own and Sancho is not a No. 9 so he's not a direct challenge to Anthony Martial. So will the arrival of Jadon Sancho hinder the progress of 18 year old Mason Greenwood next season?

While Jadon Sancho will be a good addition to any team in the world at the moment given his outstanding form, Manchester United as a big team, needs dept. He would not arrive to stay on the bench the bench. Mason is still 18 and can still he coming off from bench to make his mark in the team. United could play in the Champions League, the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the league next season and as a big team, you need dept to do that.

However, if Jadon Sancho is signed this summer, it would be interesting to see who starts in the first game of the season.
