As of yesterday, Sky in Germany report that Jadon Sancho is set to depart Borussia Dortmund in the summer with Manchester United and Chelsea battling to sign the Englishman. Dortmund are requesting £120m for the winger and will likely require a large wage fee too. While he has shone at Dortmund and will be 20 in the Summer, is he worth the huge money that Dortmund are requesting? Here's all you need to know:

Profile:
Name: Jadon Sancho
DOB: 25th March 2000 (19 years old)
Club: Borussia Dortmund
Nationality: England

Club Career:
After fruitful spells in the Manchester City youth teams, Sancho at the age of 17 decided to search for regular first team football abroad, something rarely done by British footballers, especially in Europe's top divisions and Dortmund snapped him up for a small fee of £8m. He became the first Englishman to play for Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
In that season, he was eased into first team football, featuring 12 times that season and only in the league as he did play a few times for the youth sides and Borussia Dortmund II. He finished his debut season with one goal and four assists of which his goal and two of his assists coming in a 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkeusen.
In his second season he truly shone and had heads turning from all over Europe. He registered 13 goals and 19 assists in all competitions and featured 43 times that season. He was crucial in Borussia Dortmund's title challenge and even though they fell short of the mark by an agonising two points, he was in the Bundesliga TOTY and his statistics were sensational, scoring 12 league goals and creating 17 in 34 games.
This season he has been outstanding and integral in Dortmund's team. He assisted the opener and scored the settler in the DFL-Supercup victory against Bayern Munich and started how he meant to go on. He has already bested last season's goals tally and scored 15 goals in 29 games and registered 17 assists in all competitions also. Dortmund are third in the table and only trailing table-toppers Bayern by four points and will have a massive challenge against PSG in the Champions League.
Senior Team Statistics:
84 Appearances
29 Goals
40 Assists

International Career:
Sancho has only a short senior international career but did win the u17 World Cup in 2017 but was called up to the senior squad by Gareth Southgate in 2018 after his sensational start to the 2018/19 season. While he failed to make an impact on his debut, he scored on his first start in a 5-3 win against Kosovo and has been called up in 2019 every time he was available. He is certainly set to be a part of England's World Cup squad and will battle with Sterling and Rashford for the winger positions.
International Senior Statistics:
11 Appearances
2 Goals
4 Assists

Conclusion:
His stats don't lie that he is a massive talent and is already producing outstanding results with 69 goal involvements in 84 senior appearances and even his international statistics are impressive as Sancho scores or creates a goal over once every two games. He is a versatile player that can play on either wing and even as a number 10 but is most prominent on the right hand side, a position United have failed to properly address for many years now and would massively boost United's attacking play on the right. It seems that Chelsea and Manchester United are the two battling clubs but with Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech, Manchester United may be the favourites but Champions League football next season will a crucial factor as the youngster has earned at least that. While £120m would be a record deal for Manchester United and the Premier League as a whole, it will certainly seem like a bargain in a few years or so and his potential is so massive that Sancho will be worth his weight in gold immediately and for many years to come.
